BREAKs off and new pictures
Venue: BREAK
After a week off it's now time to get back out and ROCK. We are taking the train to Hamburg where we parked the van and then it's off to Trier to support DIE PRINCESS DIE. We have never seen them live before, but they sound like a great live band - so that's gonna be a lot of fun.
There are also a few new pictures from Poland:
- Barteks pictures from Krakow here.
- Arek Drygas pictures from Krotoszyn here.
- Kaliszfornias pictures from Kalisz here.
- We added a few "after the show pictures" to Tomek's folder here.
Thanks so much for letting us use the pictures.

Day 6: Krotoszyn(Pl)
Venue: KOK ROZCHULANTYNA
The polish roads have killed the servo in the van. So parking and city driving has turned in to a real exercise where you need to use all your strength. The roads were not any better today and a drive that was supposed to take us 3 hours turned out as a 6 hours drive. We are pretty fucking tired of sitting in that car by now. Arriving in Krotoszyn the venue “Art club Krotoszyn” turned out to be a great small place. We played a great show and people liked it. But we got our camera stolen so that is the end of this picture blog. Until we get a new camera.
If you have any pictures taken of us please send us some links – we know there were ten photographers in Krotoszyn alone...

Day 5: Warsaw(Pl)
We had a great trip from Krakow to Warsaw. We made a few detours. First we visited some old beautiful town called Sandomir after that we were invited to Barteks grandparents place for a dinner. We were a bit late for Warsaw and had to eat all the great food in 20 minutes. His grandparents we really nice people and we had a great time there. We arrived in Warsaw just for the sounds-check so had to put up the gear fast. We played with two local bands Farel Gott and The Black Tapes they were both great – especially The Black Tapes, who had a great energy and some good songs. We played a rather good show as well. There weren’t many people, but the venue we nice and the people who were there liked our music. There was some pretty crazy dancing going on in front of the stage. After the show we went to Barteks place to sleep and drink all night. Next morning his girlfriend prepared some fantastic breakfast.

Day 4: Krakow(Pl)
We had a really long drive. Left Berlin at 10 in the morning and arrived in Krakow at 6 in the evening. That was a bit to much. But we manged to get in gear for the concert. We had said goodbye to Nagel in Berlin - he changed horses and went on with Greg MacPherson for the rest of his tour. In Krakow we meet up with Bartek who is going to be with us for all the shows in Poland. He had brought some of his Friends and a nice dog. We all love dogs so that was a very amusing break playing with it. The venue was in a campus area and since it was Sunday and the first day of the year in Krakow with sunny weather... everybody were drinking and having a barbecue outside. Nobody seemed to have any intention of going inside for some Rock. So we played a rather empty concert hall. After some drinking with the promoters, Bartek and more we went to our Hotel. It was a really nice one, and we have slept like babies. See you in Warsaw.

Day 3: Berlin(D)
Had a great time in Berlin. Came to the city 2 hours early, so we had some time to walk around and enjoy the first sunny day of the year. So we had Currywurst and icecream and relaxed. The room and the people at the schokoladen are great. We were rather tired but as more and more of our friends showed up we forgot our intention of going to bed early and had a party instead.

Day 2: Schwerte(D)
Had a great drive to Schwerte with pit-stop at Burger King. Rattenloch was in the basement of a school and the stage was in the old Swimming pool. Pretty crazy stuff - but cool. Played with The Separates who we played Potsdam with last year - They are great and great fun hanging out with. Once again there weren't that many people at the show but they seemed to like it a lot more than the audience in Hamburg. We were called back on stage 3 times.
Check out the pictures here.

Day 1: Hamburg(D)
It's on - We have played the first gig and it was ok. Not many people and not much money - but we had a great time with Nagel and the Mob guys. They played a great show and the audience seemed to be more into their kind of music...
Check out some picture here.

Departure
We have packed everything. Kissed our girlfriends, dogs and babies goodbye. So for the next period it's a rather different life than what we experience every day. It's driving, waiting, smoking, waiting, smoking, drinking, playing, smoking, drinking, sleeping, being grumpy, Coffee and all over again. And we are looking forward to every bid of it. Hope to see you at one of the shows...
We've put up some of the posters at the picture gallery. Check 'em out here.

Popkomm in Berlin
Popkomm was great. Here are some pictures from our tour to Berlin. We played a club called "Bastard" alongside other Play/Rec and PonyRec artists.
The labels had rented the venue for two days and we were playing on the second night. So the first night was one big Party and second day was filled with some sightseeing, recovering, playing a great show and then having a party again.

Roskilde Festival
We have been going to Roskilde Festival for more than 10 years. It's Denmarks biggest and best festival.
The day that we were told that we were going to play the festival still stand out as something really special.
We played a great show and have to thank the fantastic audience and those who helped us (Jakob "Snake" Nielsen: Sound, Thomas Burø: Stage Hand, Ricco: Video and Philip: Photo).
